The Accessible Books Consortium (ABC) is a public-private partnership led by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) that unites the key organizations representing the visually impaired, blind or print-disabled, authors, publishers, libraries, standard bodies and authorized entities. It aims to increase and distribute books worldwide in accessible formats - such as braille, audio, e-text, and large print.
ABC International Excellence Award for Accessible Publishing
The award recognizes a publisher and a project initiative demonstrating outstanding leadership and achievements in advancing the accessibility of commercial e-books or other digital publications for blind, visually impaired, or print-disabled persons.
