PDA at Workplace
PDAs at workplace are must-haves.
Confused?
Well, I am talking about Public Display of Appreciation. ??
They say-
“Praise in Public, criticize in private”.
There’s nothing better than knowing that your efforts are appreciated. Whether it’s felt like a good or bad week, been a heavy workload or you’ve achieved many goals, it’s great to have your efforts recognized not only on a one-to-one level but in front of others. Public display of an employee’s good work is a great way to spread appreciation, motivation and boost engagement.
A dedicated employee recognition wall can be the most effective way to PDAs.
Some simple tips on what you can show on the wall of fame-
-?????????Individuals’ accomplishments can be highlighted with photographs. Photos can be fun to look at and express more than what words can’t.

-?????????Highlight team wins with photos of the team and any major projects they have completed together. This will not only boost the team morale but also help build trust and stronger work relations.
-?????????Encourage other employees to post notes of gratitude for featured employees around their photos. Notes, shout-outs, stickers, etc. can be used here. Such peer-to-peer appreciation helps build strong bonds in the workplace, which is crucial for team success.
-?????????Include a fun brief biography of high-achievers with all they have done for the organization. People in the organization will get a chance to know more about their peers. At the same time, they can work towards seeing their own name and bio in the wall of fame, pushing them to focus on their work.
At Stratview Research, we practice PDAs to recognize an individual’s achievement like-
Tarif Toh Banti Hain- is a wall of fame introduced where the management displays any kind of individual’s achievement that it feels is out of the way and should be highlighted and appreciated in front of all.
“Cheers to Peers”- is a concept where the team members can appreciate what they see as positive in their peers by writing small notes for them.
These are a couple of PDAs we at Stratview Research practice to appreciate the little but important contributions of our team.
What other kinds of PDAs do you practice at your workplace?
