PDA Week scheduled 6-11 April 2025 in Palm Springs, CA is proving to shape up as an exciting and enlightening experience offering insights and disruptive innovations among all industry sectors.? The intent is to provide a panoramic perspective on the key issues, breakthroughs, intersections and solutions that are shaping the future of the industry.
To get more background on how the agenda addresses the many needs of attendees, we caught up with committee planning member Sebastian Bernard Teitz PhD, who is Senior Development Scientist at Novo Nordisk, charged with safeguarding biopharmaceuticals from the risk of virus transmissions to patients.
North Star
?Sebastian shares that his North Star in helping to create the agenda was catalyzed by the first time he visited this event, initially as an attendee and then later serving on the committee. He says, “I am thinking of it as the one place where we learn about the ‘big wheels that are being turned’ in our industry.” He adds with this thought in mind, he was enthusiastic about participating in the discussions that helped the committee shape the agenda.?He admits that weaving all the disciplines and sectors of the industry into one event can be challenging, He explains, “With several streams and formats embedded into the event, we are usually able to place the presentation submissions into a context of directly relatable talks and topics. With this filter, we can ascertain a direct exchange of mutual inspiration within the topics at hand.” Sebastian adds that the question the healthcare sector professionals should be asking themselves is, “How do we give as many people as possible access to?a high standard of care? While we are tackling more and more diseases with great innovations this question remains the one with the most gravity, globally.”
