FlourishDx
Discover sustainable approaches to psychosocial safety to improve employee mental health, productivity and compliance.
Hi there,?
Happy New Year!?
With WA dropping a Christmas treat, adopting the model WHS regulations on psychosocial risk on December 24 (joining NSW and TAS to have the model regs in force), the rest of Australia looks likely to join the party within the coming months. Queensland and Comcare have already published their version and flagged a 1 April start date.?
We’ve got some upcoming events in Australia and London to get you up to speed on the new regs, international best practice, and how to integrate this into a holistic approach to mental health at work.?

? Learn about new WHS regulations dealing with psychosocial risk?

LIVE ZOOM: A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO WHS PSYCHOSOCIAL RISK REGULATORY REFORM?
In December we ran two FlourishDx community exclusive invite-only events on the incoming WHS regulation reform occurring in Australia. Interest was so high we had to double capacity from 20 to 40 people per session. ?
Given the popularity of this topic, we will be running a third session on 24 January 2023. This session is only available for internal HR/HSE professionals and will not be recorded. To register your interest in the session, contact [email protected].
LONDON SYMPOSIUM: EMERGING BETTER PRACTICE FOR MENTAL HEALTH AT WORK?
Having a holistic mental health strategy can help organisations reap the benefits of psychologically healthy workers. However, in 2021/22 there were 914,000 UK workers suffering from new or long-standing work-related stress, depression or anxiety and 17 million days lost. This accounted for 55% of all working days lost due to work related ill health and was higher than pre-covid levels.?
To realise the benefits of mentally healthy work, the World Health Organisation and? International Labour Organization recommend taking an integrated strategy that first prevents harm, then promotes and protects wellbeing and supports ill-health.?
In this symposium, you will hear from three experts in the field of psychological health, safety and wellbeing about how organisations can add the prevent harm pillar to their employee mental health strategy, and meet WHS legal requirements, and align with international best practice.?
This event is free (thanks to our partner Zurich Resilience Solutions) for internal senior P&C/HSE leaders. To register your interest for the session, contact [email protected].??
