PCR Turns 14

Hey there, 

14 years ago this month I officially launched my agency...didn’t call it an agency at the time because truth be told it was me working out of my living room. I was happy to have a few paying clients while at the same time googling “what’s a P&L?” I’ve been posting some content on LinkedIn around lessons learned, funny stories, and tips I’ve picked up along the way - check it out if you get a chance.

 Also, I’m excited to announce our first acquisition of another agency, Lifestyle. We kept it all in the family as it was my brother’s agency. Conversations around the dinner table just got a lot more interesting that’s for sure.

Current Client Experiment

??An easy, quick-win you can implement in your email automations: Introduce a conditional split for new and returning customers in your basic flows (Abandoned Cart, Customer Post-Purchase Thank You). This conditional split allows you to tailor the messaging to each group - for potential customers, remind them of their discount code and for returning customers, take the opportunity to thank them for their business or upsell/cross-sell. We did this for a client and doubled the revenue for their Abandoned Cart flow.

New Tool We're Loving

??New Digits - With live events and meetings coming back, we’re all about to make some new connections. New Digits is an app that shows you your most recent contacts, so you don't have to lose your mind searching your address book. It’s really helpful for me to keep track of who to follow up with, and I’ll also scroll occasionally to see if there’s anyone I should touch base with that I haven’t recently. 

Cool Brand We're Into

??Vive Organic - We worked with Wyatt and his team helping with email and UX but I had been a fan of their brand long before the engagement. Their immunity boost is always my go-to when I’m traveling and they just launched 3 new shots, one with 60,000mg of ginger. That will certainly wake you up in the morning. 

What We're Up To

??We’ve been spending an inordinate amount of time reworking our sales process and client onboarding - now everything lives in HubSpot and PandaDoc. This hasn’t been an easy process, but it’s so worth it for the team to have insight into our sales pipeline. Not to mention this helps standardize our business practices. The integration works really seamlessly and you can trigger workflows based on actions taken within PandaDoc.

??I’ve been educating myself on cryptocurrency and found this podcast to be one of the best bullish cases for blockchain as a technology. If you want to learn more and understand the use cases of NFTs, DeFi, etc., it’s worth checking out.
