Is PCH Right for You?
While we specialize in treating complex mental issues like OCD, bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, and more, the team at PCH cares more about what happened to you than what’s “wrong” with you. That said, our program isn’t necessarily the best fit for everyone struggling with these issues. Here are some factors to consider before taking the next step and reaching out to PCH for help.
Our Program May Be Right for You If:
You Can Privately Fund Treatment
If you can’t afford to pay for treatment upfront and wait for insurance reimbursement later on, PCH probably isn’t the best place for you. We don’t do this because we want your money. Instead, we understand that everyone heals at their own pace, and we don’t want treatment timelines, length of stay, or clinical care to be determined by insurance panels. PCH doesn’t accept insurance upfront, but our team will work with you to navigate the insurance reimbursement process following treatment. We can’t guarantee reimbursement, but we do everything we can to make our program as affordable as possible.
Your Primary Issue Is Tied to One of Our Core Treatment Programs
At PCH, we understand that every individual is unique, and our approach is flexible to accommodate a diverse range of needs and situations when the core issue is tied to:
- Emotional Dysregulation
- Psychological Trauma
- OCD
- Chronic Anxiety
- Depression
- Bipolar
- PTSD
- Schizophrenia
- Borderline Personality
- Dissociative Conditions
- Dual Diagnosis
You’re 18+ Years of Age
We specialize in treating adults. You have to be 18 years or older to be admitted into our program.
If you answered yes to all three of the above criteria, reach out to the team at PCH to take the next steps.
PCH Isn’t the Best Choice If:
You’re Relying on Insurance to Fund Treatment
While we’re willing to work with insurance companies for reimbursement following treatment, we require payment up front to ensure insurance panels don’t dictate treatment timelines, length of stay, or clinical care. If you’re planning to fund treatment with insurance, PCH isn’t the best fit.
You’re an Adolescent
Treating adolescent psychological issues requires a level of specialization that our staff is not equipped to handle. Our specialists focus on treating adults, so you have to be 18 years or older to be admitted into our program.
Your Primary Issue Is Addiction
While we treat addiction, we aren’t an addiction treatment center. We can’t admit someone who is actively using a substance and may introduce those substances into our milieu. However, if you fit our other criteria, we may be able to admit you if you first undergo a separate detox program before entering our facility.
One important exception here: We’ve treated many clients with primary addiction who failed conventional addiction programs that didn’t deal with underlying psychological issues or trauma at the root of the addiction. We can also help treat primary addiction in individuals who are self-medicating to treat deeper psychological issues.
Your Primary Issue Is an Eating or Developmental Disorder
While we treat eating and developmental issues to the extent that they overlap with other psychological issues, we do not treat them when that’s your only issue.
If any of the above describes you, PCH probably isn’t the right choice for your needs.
Is PCH Right for You?
Do you think PCH is the right choice for your treatment goals? Our team takes a holistic approach to understanding where you’ve been and identifying what to do next. We begin by listening to what’s happened to you. When you’re ready to share that with our team, reach out to get started.
