Payson Home Watch of Payson, AZ, earns fourth-year accreditation from the National Home Watch Association

PAYSON, AZ—Payson Home Watch of Payson has earned Accredited Member status from the National Home Watch Association for the fourth consecutive year. The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada (www.nationalhomewatchassociation.org). Home Watch is a service that “keeps an eye on things” at your vacation or primary home while you are not in residence.

Owners Chris and Kathy Abbott moved to Payson in 2008 and have been Arizona residents for over 30 years. For a few years, they performed informal home watch activities for realtors, friends, and neighbors. After careful research and finding the NHWA, they decided to make it official and launched Payson Home Watch in 2014.

Chris spent 32 years in national and regional account management roles with major corporations in the consumer products, building materials, and irrigation industries. He is also a licensed landscaping/irrigation contractor and has owned and operated a landscape business since 1995. Chris earned an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Iowa State University. Kathy has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Grand View College.

Chris and Kathy enjoy the outdoor lifestyle that Payson and the Rim Country offer, including golf, hiking, running, and mountain biking. They’re active participants and volunteers at the Payson Community Garden and Payson Humane Society.

Payson Home Watch serves the Payson Rim Country, including Ahwatukee, Chandler, Sun Lakes, Tempe, and Gilbert. They can be reached at (928) 478-2117 or [email protected]. Learn more at www.paysonhomewatch.com.
