Paying the Executive Fee

Paying the Executive Fee

When it comes to recruitment, the value of our advice may not be appreciated if we position ourselves as a cheaper or lower-cost option. As a skilled recruiter, our role extends beyond simply submitting CVs, it involves providing expert guidance throughout the process. This could include insights such as:

  • Salary advice
  • Who is in the current market
  • Client interview preparation
  • Other opportunities the preferred candidate has

If our clients demonstrate their appreciation for our services by agreeing to pay our fee, they are more likely to value our advice. This offers a smoother recruitment process which increases the likelihood of finding the right candidate.

If we begin by lowering our fee, it sets the tone for a potentially difficult journey. By signaling that we are not worth the original price we quoted, it conveys that we are not the experts in our field. Clients may be less inclined to follow our advice if they perceive it to be less valuable.

At One Eighty, we are Consultants who guide our clients through the recruitment process using our expert knowledge of the built environment. Working exclusively allows us to partner with our clients offering a successful, stress free experience.
