Pay only for what you use

No commitment. Pay for what you really use each month. Pay-per-Use for On-Demand Scalability is an established payment method and the key advantage of cloud computing and it means that customers are charged based on real usage of the service. This is exactly what smart organizations do with their IT infrastructure and computing capacity. They realize that building their own data center with huge computing power to match processing peaks that may happen only once or twice a year is like building your own power generation plant next to your house to have enough power available for Christmas when you put all the lights on. Having an established supplier of electricity is much easier, cheaper, reliable and safer solution. And you can use your garden, money, time and energy for much better purposes than maintaining a power plant. Cloud does just the same for businesses and I would like to share a really good example. Sodexo has launched a new Gastro Pass CARD that gradually replaces paper meal vouchers. Most customers will use it during lunch times which can generate about a thousand transactions per minute. Would you buy and maintain large number of super strong servers to guarantee enough power for a couple of peak hours when for the rest of the day most of the servers would lie idle and be just a cost for your business? Sodexo decided to " Pay-per-Use" and let us manage the servers. They chose Microsoft cloud platform Azure which gives them as much computing power as they need in any given moment. It is a perfect solution for their new card - and the card is a perfect solution for their customers, who receive exactly the same benefit - they can pay the exact value of what they buy and are not anymore limited by the specific amount on a paper voucher. Cloud is the perfect gift for everyone - and you do not need to wait for Christmas to enjoy it!

They are, Sodexho, second in Czech Republic after EdenRed with prepaid cards replacing paper based meal vouchers. Both, EdenRed and Sodexho are MasterCard? based. But key message is Microsoft cloud, correct?
