Pay LESS - Get MORE

Pay LESS - Get MORE

“PAY LESS – GET MORE”

We tend to be discount-driven people.?We want CHEAP!?Many of us are continually striving for “deals.”?The days of clipping coupons have subsided.?Today, there are apps, websites, subscriptions and the like that offer just about anything, at a price-break.

In a recent article, we spoke of comparing “widgets -vs- services,” when choosing the lowest bid.?If looking for a “Dandy 5000” widget, you would probably be okay searching for the lowest bid.?After all, at the end of the day, you are still getting a “Dandy 5000.”

When searching for a service provider, looking for that lowest quote will often lead to problems. It is virtually inevitable.

Want to know what is ruining the Private Security industry??More than anything, it is the constant battle to be the “lowest bid.”?Prospective clients are looking for this.?Business owners are trying to compete in costs, more so than in performance.?The reason – it COST to properly train Officers.?It COST to pay appropriate pay-rates for seasoned/experienced Officers.?It COST to implement equipment, platforms, software and supervision to properly manage and equip those Officers.

When seeking a Security Provider, it is important to keep in mind – whatever you are paying the vendor, pays an Officer pay-rate, benefits (or lack of), training (or lack of), vetting of Officer candidates, management (or lack of), uniforms, equipment, employee platforms and more.?And one important note about current Officer pay-rates in Texas:?recent managed research of 20-security companies revealed that the average pay-rates for Unarmed Officers is $13.98/hour and $16.31/hour for Armed Officers.?Keep in mind that Panda Express restaurants, for example, starts their food servers at $15+/hour.

With regard to a Security-Service-Provider, “PAY LESS – GET MORE” – more headaches, more turnover, more liability, more sub-par performance – Officers know they can make more money waiting tables, more stress for you, as a client.?And this should not be the case with a vendor – any vendor.

Op6we are fair-wage-advocates!?Our goal is to offer the BEST and most COMPREHENSIVE service, balanced with a fair and reasonable price.?We work with clients who are seeking REAL security solutions or looking to replace a current problematic provider.

We pay for market research that allows us to stay ahead of trends, current pay-rates, and industry requirements.?We currently have one of the most stringent Officer vetting processes in the State of Texas, bar none.?We currently have one of the most qualifying Officer training programs in Texas, bar none - taught by Law Enforcement and Military Instructors. We are one of the few Security firms in the state that offer “Arrest Authorized,” Advanced-level Officers.?We currently utilize top-rated security software and devices to make things as efficient as possible for the Officers and as rewarding as possible for our clients.

In your quest for the next Security Service Provider, consider the “cost.”?Saving on the front-end just may become much more costly on the back.

Couldn't agree more. Do you want quality or quantity. If you really care about your assets and employees you should want the best for them. Yep, there you have it
