Pay attention to several aspects of heat exchanger accessories reassembly

The heat exchanger has a small floor area, is easy to clean, and is loved by users. The following aspects should be paid attention to when reinstalling the heat exchanger accessories.

1. Before reassembling the components of the heat exchanger accessories, the qualified heat exchange plates, gaskets, heads (head covers), clamping bolts and nuts must be scrubbed clean.

2. Before the heat exchanger gasket is bonded to the groove, the residual glue in the groove must be dissolved with acetone or other similar organic solvents, and then wiped with a fine gauze cloth.

3. Using a bristle brush with the same width as the groove of the sealing gasket, apply the synthetic resin adhesive to the groove of the plate, then press into the sealing gasket, flatten it with a flat steel plate, and place it for 48 hours.

4. Use organic solvents such as acetone to dissolve and remove the residual rubber squeezed out of the groove.

5. When replacing the new gasket for the heat exchanger, carefully check the four corner holes of the new gasket, which must be the same as the old gasket.

6. When one plate of the heat exchanger is damaged and there are no spare parts, this plate and the adjacent plate can be removed at the same time, and then tighten the clamping bolt.

7. When the heat exchanger is reassembled, the plates should be alternately rotated 180° for stacking, and no wrong installation is allowed. The repaired and replaced plates should be added to the plate bundle according to this requirement. If the plate is damaged and there are no spare parts, the adjacent plates can be removed at the same time. To distinguish whether the heat exchanger plates are incorrectly added, it should be judged from the triangle mark on the center of the plate. As long as the triangle mark on the center of the plate is reversed (V) and positive (0), it is not installed wrongly.

8. The clamping bolts should be tightened evenly, symmetrically and crosswise. The heat exchanger clamping bolts should be tightened until the length of the plate bundle reaches the calculated value.

9. If you want to prevent the sealing gasket and the plate from sticking together, you can apply a layer of mixture on the heat exchanger fittings sealing gasket. The mixture is made up of oil, alcohol and talc in a ratio of 1:1:2.
