Pause

There is a fundamental challenge in the amount of data available to us today. The lack of awareness into the present moment forces us to struggle with what is happening in and around the moment that we are actually in. We constantly allow ourselves to be pulled away, lose focus or simply be distracted by the smallest diversions. We find ourselves sifting through white noise just to make sure we're really hearing the great song playing through our headphones, validating the person we're talking to on the phone or even focusing on the email response which we've just spent 5 minutes trying to proof read.
The speed of the world in which we live in is gathering speed and complexity faster than any of us can grasp. Sometimes there needs to be reminders that tell us to simply "Stop for a moment".
Just stop. No, really, I'm asking you and requesting that you take a moment to stop. Put it all down. Push the pause button. Seriously, Do It. Stop for a moment. Take a deep breath.
Think of the last time you smiled. The last time you laughed out loud. Think of the color of your very first bike or that day you stood on the edge of a mountain and wondered how far you could see... Now, take another breath. Go ahead. You can do better than that. Breathe Deeper and get Oxygen to places in your lungs that it hasn't been in a while. Feels kinda good right? Well hey, guess what (if you haven't just passed out :) You've just become present. Enjoy that gift.
Ok, Thanks for taking time. Go on your way now. Hop back onto the future because you might feel like you're missing something soon.
