Paul Pereira - Those who have implemented AI & those who can only talk about it.

Anybody can talk about AI but until you actually get into the trenches and have the vision and execution to build machine models and apply it in a useful way in the business world or just the real world, everything else is pure speculation.

AI is the new way of transforming every corner and aspect of our daily lives but understanding its limitations and its potential disruptive side takes a real hands on understanding of quantum computing and machine learning.

There is so much to share from experiences of building platforms that the world never though possible to continuously training them to be incredible accurate.

There is a lot of chatter about AI and so many experts emerge suddenly who probably have never even seen a data set of unbiased data but purport to be subject matter experts.

I would say " Ask them what AI models and projects have they actually been hands on involved with". Not just being in an office where two floors up there are 60 engineers from full stack developers to back enders to python programmers to cloud based experts grueling away millions of lines of code as they perfect machine models.

If the answer is "NO" then move on because he is not your guy to give you any valuable input about AI and your business or vision.

I know because I have been down in the trenches with the engineers and know what it takes to really use AI so that the technology and models built are able to deliver what you need.

I will share with you my experiences from my journeys with AI, #ComputerVision, $NLP, Ethics, Privacy protection, $GDPR sand data storage and #machinemodels. Unless you have been there it is a maze of uncertainties and constant decisions that only a few have the ability to translate the vision into technology code into business benefits and maneuver "The Valley of Death" #elonmusk to bring vision to commercialization. I know as I have successfully been there many times with tech companies.
