As part of our coaching ethos we talk a lot about gathering stakeholder requirements and needing to understand that drilling down through the “5 why’s†(typically) is imperative to allow your dashboard users to gain relevant insights that lead to taking meaningful action.
Therefore it's essential that you have multiple ways for your users to be able to drill down through that process. The data itself twill normally dictate the answers to any questions and you will want to have the flexibility of steering your users based upon on the answer that the data throws up,????????? ???????? This simple tool allows your user to select what is important, and use that to filter a different dashboard that shows them the underlying detail. Additionally, using the “Menu†option in the filter action can allow your user to select what they filter on, and to which dashboard they navigate to.
⑤ Pinpoint the location where you can take action in a 3rd party Web Applications using a??????? ????????????. You can’t get any closer to taking action than this wonderfully simple and yet powerful capability.
Any others I haven’t covered? I'd love to hear your ideas. It was very hard to keep it to 5...
