Pattern based intelligences

Pattern based intelligences

As humans we are pattern based intelligences. This also implies (paraphrasing Dave Snowden again) that the energy cost of actually seeing things differently is so high that we don't do it unless we are forced! That would explain, why taking ans seeking new perspectives, let alone making transformative changes are so damn hard. It's hard-wired into our intelligences. What an irony though, especially if we are locked in patterns that no longer serve us and now work as a sabotage program. Here, if awareness is missing, intelligence has no chance to change a pattern we are subject to.
So, we have designed a training with humans as complex adaptive systems in mind. We work with the immunity to change, trace it back to its origin and work with want wants to move. We make that 'cost' as low as elegantly possible, let new perspectives in and give your the choice back where you were run by automatism hidden from your intellect and logic. The impact is immense. The force is replaced by working with your own resistance, frustration or your curiosity for your next edge - mental aikido style. If any one is interested, drop a line.  Personal transformation intensive

As I see it our patterns are laid upon our intelligences in a very early state where we did not have a developed mindsystem. We put on the patterns to survive in a world where we depend on others for our survival (which we do in our early childhood). With time we forget who we are behind the pattern and believe that our patterned personality is who we really are. It takes a lot of trust, respect and compassion to walk the release the armor and meet whatever it covers - which many times is quite messy and ugly and hurts. But if we do that, in a respectful way in an understanding, nonjudgmental and supportive surrounding, we also meet ourself as the infinite beautiful creature and intelligence we really are and we understand that we today, as an adult do not need the patterns for our survival anymore. Now we have a choice to use the patterns when we need them and to let them go when they are no use.
