Alcohol Awareness Training Overview

1.“Training customers on how to have fun” First you train your customers then you train your employee. Servers training creates the opportunity to educate patrons to safer self-controlled drinking behaviors. People come back to people they trust Servers care creates a mutual trust between servers and patrons that bring patrons back to safer environments. The patron trust creates the opportunity for safer profits with safer money production. Patrons will pay more for secure and safe environments. Remember that all actions and inactions are acts of the owner when servers are acting on behalf of the owners and cities that gave them the alcohol license. Remember that the only thing that is ever to be controlled by Staff education and policy is the opportunity of risk. Servers training occurs when the young server have a greater understanding that the duty of care is to care by older employee wisdom and help. Employee’s attitude, customers feeling of entitlement, lack of caring by patrons/employees, lack of server’s experience, the huge amount of social pressure, and poly impairments of employees and patrons may create a dangerous opportunity of social risk taking. Employee’s immediate communication with patrons at entry has to be more 2-3 seconds. Continual and ongoing Impairment checks by staff Nightclubs should have two checks by staff employees. One by a well-trained employee checking for legal/valid state/government issued identification. The second training is to recognize through SCABing of very patrons by checking their Speech, Coordination, Appearance and Behavior. Importance of and breaking down observing behaviors and actions The staff member is looking for poly impairments of patron’s attitude impairment, fatigue impairment, emotional impairment, psychological impairment, physiological impairment, legal drug impairment including “Alcohol”, illegal drug impairment, and mental illness impairment. Remember there are poly impairments that are associated with alcohol use like marijuana and illegal drugs. You usually get sued for the possible alcohol’s illegal patron misuse under dramshop for alcohol misuse and or acts that help create unsafe premises for the other patron’s injuries. The employee’s immediate communication of observable patron risk-taking will help to reduce other possible patron harm. The staff by immediately addressing this unwanted risky behaviors of patrons possible bullying of other patrons/staff, and sexual harassment will not be allowed as acceptable patron behaviors. Staffs immediate communication helps to these unwanted and dangerous behaviors. Needs and Wants Understand their wants and control their needs Servers are trained to be aware of patrons behaviors. Control of patrons wants may create the loss of tips, and fear of possible injury from the patrons. The privilege of drinking alcohol is given than earned. Training patrons as to what is acceptable behavior is a continual and ongoing process. The patrons will pay more to return to safe and secure premises. The key to alcohol serving longevity is always been creating patron safety. Knowledge of patron continual alcohol risk-taking behaviors can create a possibility for legal actions from injured people by this patron. Patrons are always addressed as patrons. Training younger legal and illegal drinkers in college community how to develop safety helplines will help with reducing dangers of social risk-taking behaviors. “Buddy Up” Patrons should drink in situations where you are protected by your friends. A tragedy is avoided by social planning ahead and having good caring friends. The common friend pledge if you’re going with your friend you’re leaving with a friend is done when alcohol drinking occurs. Train younger drinkers to develop self-safety habits by controlling of social interaction with self-limit policy. Training servers to provide water backs with alcohol drinks is a great way to slow or delay alcohol service. All servers are SCABing patron’s levels of possible impairment on a continual and ongoing pace. The maximum amount of alcohol service at one time is one drink up and drink back. No 21 shots on their 21 birthday is a house policy and alcohol service will not occur until the next morning for people turning 21 years of age under your house policy. This could become a very dangerous day if not addressed by limiting aggressive alcohol serving environments. Providing safety when serving alcohol on your premises will cost you more money and make you more profits in the long run. Servers have to deal with what see and immediately communicate problem observed situations to managers at risk patron behaviors. Staff will always, “Deal with what you see” and will not have to wish them to go away. The server have to be conditioned to not let patron’s words hurt their feeling. Patron’s entitlement, arrogant, and ignorant behavior should never be reacted too by staff but addressed immediately by house policy as conditions of entry. Always remember patrons carding patrons is a house policy and a condition of entry, movement, and control. Moving problem patrons is easier when you control their identification. Servers training helps staff develop the staff ability to control patron possible risk-taking situational opportunity. The dangers of aggressive music can be communicated to DJ’S by staff impression on the patron's reactions and their aggressive response to the music. The staff control of alcohol on open tabs and special event free drinking in events, sporting events, weddings, and funerals, all have to be staff controlled. Special event drinking is always at risk drinking situation occur when there is no limit on alcohol and staff must have a responsible person named in the contract. Two different issues Baby sitting Having fun and having too much fun Training vs Caring. Can you give a machine training and feeling? Nonverbal communication that is not perceived by a machine creates a huge miscommunication opportunity increasing the risk-taking of your patrons. You can not have Servers training without caring and compassion, you lack the ability to have human understanding. Machines have no compassion which can create a greater misunderstanding of patrons’ communication problems. A grave danger in our society is lack of communication between one another and the future of allowing machines to control our legal needs rather than people. Planning ahead helps you to control the amount of alcohol you plan to consume and amount of risk you plan to take. Thinking ahead before drinking alcohol creates a reasonable timeline for controlled fun that may reduce the opportunity of self-harm. The patron thinking before making the decision to drink alcohol creates a helpful effort to reduce the opportunity of self–harm. Patrons, “Regretful self-harm actions that cannot be taken BACK, ”. The selling of alcohol can be a risky business and regret is created by the drinker’s self-greed and to create self-pleasure. The ability to read and teach staff to read body language will also help when trying to decide if patrons are possibly impaired and help reduce possible patron risk-taking. Never give patrons control of the serving of alcohol in your environment if it cannot be controlled. Bottle service creates a huge problem of control. Drinking alcohol is a social privilege not a social right in our society. Drinking alcohol is a learned behavior and should not be treated as an uneducated activity. Society owes younger drinkers the knowledge of educated safeguards to develop internal self-controls that create the opportunity to reduce self-harm behaviors. The goal of societal education of younger drinkers is to develop safer responsible alcohol drinking behavior patterns. Some programs are “Plan ahead and don’t be that person”, “ Be nice, not stupid”, “Friends take care of Friends”, “Safe Cabs”, and “Buddy Up”. Patrons thinking before drinking alcohol are goals to create respect for the power of drinking alcohol. Drinking alcohol is a patron free will behavior that has to have some educated internal consumption controls to avoid reduce at-risk drinking behaviors. Most normal people drinking alcohol are not normal drinkers. Ten percent off the populist consumes 70% of the alcohol produced and 90 percent of the populist consumes 30 percent of the alcohol produced. When you are sued it is on the normal effects of alcohol on patrons not heavier late night drinkers. Late night drinkers are not normal drinkers and have to be watched continually and ongoing by staff. Underage younger drinkers are at great risk. .because of a lack of drinking experience.f-harm. ts.
