The Patreon

Patreon is a great way to help creators and get involved in the creative process. Artists had patrons in past, some of them became famous only because of their portraits and paintings and sculptures and buildings and books that were left behind. They were made by famous artists. Like Guliano Medici was made famous by Sandro Botticelli.

I opened my Patreon page and find out it is a great thing. Simple to use and simple to give and get. It is a great way for everyone to invest in art and artist.

But why should you do that? Would you know anything about ancient Egyptians, Babylonians or Incas if they were not investing in their artists? Would you know anything about the early religions and their belives? Or about any spiritual knowledge?

I do not think so. Investing in Art is possible only when you invest in Artist.

Investing in artist means investing in future financial benefit, investing in fame, power immortality. But most of all it is in fact investment in Love, because you invest in art that you love.

So Patreon is a great site where people who like art can contribute a little every month. It can be 1 to 100 or more dolars/euros/ ... For artists, it means a lot and for you ... you get some insides into the creative process, every now and then a gift from artist and at the end you can have a discount on the final product. Every creator has their own triers suitable for their circle of fans. It goes in both ways - it gives artists a way to get patrons and to art-lovers, a possibilities get the extra something. It is a great way to allow us to get to know each other a little bit more.
