Path to Web Development

Path to Web Development

Web development is always scouting for new talents. In today’s world, every developer must be knowing the basics of website development. Basically there are three career options: Front-End or Back-End and the combination of two i.e. the Full-Stack. Let’s discuss them.

Front-End Developers are responsible for building the User Interface (UI). They decide how does our website looks i.e. the colors, fonts, sizes, and all other visual elements. In many tech giants, they work hand-in-hand with Web-Designers or are capable of being both: front-end specialists and web designers. Most of the people opt for this field because your work leads to a clear-cut visual image.

For Back-End Developers, the situation is a little different. They work under-the-hood, reassuring that the website functions correctly, connect to databases, and performs other critical tasks. Therefore, their work is invisible to the naked eye since visitors are more inclined to react to visual elements. Code written by back-end developers helps to communicate the database information to the browser. Example: Most common example of backend programming is when you are reading an article on the blog.

In this learning path, you will be introduced to the main programming and scripting languages for web development. You will have the chance to learn from professionals about HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the most widely used frameworks/libraries.
