As my family dropped me off at the airport I felt a twitch in my stomach, realising that a memorable journey was about to begin. It will not be easy and I will be continuously reminded that my friends are all going to travel in north-east India during the same time. They were not too happy with my choice of not accompanying them but sometimes you just need to follow your heart. Will miss my niece's birthday and she too was not happy about me leaving.

But for what I will miss, I hope everyone will be content with loads of stories I will bring back from my travel. My trip began at the check-in counter itself. Met a guy who owns mines in Peru and has offices all over the country. He was friendly and offered me a ride to my hostel in Lima. Seems like my luck is still hot. For now I plan to work on a couple of articles I have to write while I relax at the Schiphol airport. After that, let the party begin!
