If you are doing what everyone else is doing, chances are the farthest that you can go in that direction is to get 1% better than the others in this headwind journey. Eventually, you will need to make a U-turn to either follow another tribe that is in demand at that time (or) you can craft an entirely new path for many more to follow. You can become a path-breaker

It is not everyone's cup of tea to become a path-maker.?Being one will be the self-chosen one. Path-Breakers will eventually become path-makers in terms of solving the biggest challenges, discovering new things, and innovating things that make life seamless for the larger set of human tribes.

India's Independence: To Defeat Imperialism when the captured nations were waging armed wars with such powers, here our father of the nation took a path-breaking approach to sit in the seat of Ahimsa to eventually get India the much-needed independence that every one of us is enjoying the fruits of such hard labor.

World War 2?Defining Moment: It was a path-breaking strategy to form a grand alliance spearheaded by the efforts of Churchill to bring FDR and Stalin under one roof to defeat the efforts of Hitler and their army in its tracks. Without the three leaders setting aside their subtle differences to mutually agree on the grand alliance, it would have been impossible to defeat Hitler and their army, and eventually its ideology. Without the formation of the grand alliance, second world war history would have been totally different from what it is today.?The seeds of such a path-breaking effort from one leader ensured long-lasting peace, allowed democratic institutions to be formed?& end the second world war.

1983 World Cup: When everyone gave a remote chance for the Indian Cricket team to win a world cup in the early 80s with likes of the West Indies, Australia, and England playing at their peak and best.?It was then spearheaded by Captain Kapildev, who hailed from a small hinterland with big dreams, who came to conquer the world stage by making the young team believe in their core they are the David's who can defeat the goliaths in their own den.?

He walked the talk by changing the collective mindset of the entire team by playing huge innings in a sheer aggressive manner and leading from the front defeating the defending champions twice in the tournament, which included the final as well, eventually paving the way for winning our very own world cup.

Path-breaking mindset created by the leader established a clear process and belief they are lesser to no one.?Not only the team captured the hearts and minds of the entire country but made the game a favorite pastime as well.?This opened up avenues for many such talents from the hinterland to boldly take up the path of sports. Dhoni is a manifestation of such a dream and belief.

1991 Liberalization: Mr. Narashima Rao spearheaded & opened up the opportunity for Foreign Direct Investment with the landmark liberalization policies along with his able advisors, very well knowing that while it will be unpopular to the social ideology prevailing at that time,?its benefits would eventually outlive its time. The truth of that pudding is, India is on the pathway to becoming the world's 3rd largest economy within this decade. We are reaping the benefits of it even today and sure for the next generations.

Indian IT Revolution: Narayana Moorthy & visionaries accelerated the Indian IT Revolution & betted on the IT?space when it was still nascent.?Their collective vision created a new global workforce, enhanced the quality of lives of many and still counting,?put India on the world IT map with global clients,?and created a new breed of entrepreneurs. This combined with a major contribution from other leading organizations paved the way to put India at the top of its rank in the elite IT workforce and paved the way for the workforce to be celebrated globally.

Mozart of Madras - Revolution in Music:?A.R Rahman gave Indian music a whole new identity with the way music is composed and rearranged with path-defining high-quality output to the sound, which was mesmerizing to the people.?

This was India's?Steve Jobs moment to experience music and its associated rhythms of sound in an entirely different way than the prevailing standards at that time.?Due to this music revolution,?a lot of sound systems across theatres /auditoriums got revamped,?paved the way for a new breed of sound engineers/technicians to enhance the quality of sound & overall music experience to the people,?and brought about acoustics & instrument revolution,?allowed more new age music directors and singers on the global scene and eventually made India in the Oscars map.??

His Music school is producing more global musical talents, who would further continue the journey.?One seed, multiple grains.
