Patchwork Hub's GoFundMe, support our work!

'Donate to Patchwork Hub. Launching our GoFundMe - support our work!'?

Have you seen the work and impact of our small team and ever wondered how you can help or support our cause??

Patchwork Hub is a small but dedicated disabled-led team with a clear social mission: a more accessible and inclusive future of work.?We're working to build our reach and impact organically with very limited funds. As for so many businesses, Covid-19 has been very difficult for our social enterprise. While we've successfully made it through the various lockdowns and changes to client budgets and priorities, we've had to reduce capacity in some areas.

Several months ago we launched our GoFundMe fundraiser. With your help, we can drive forward change towards a better world of work, where every individual able and wanting to work is given the opportunity to thrive. Even a small donation can make a big impact.

So, can you help us help others? Your donation to our growing and award-winning social enterprise could really make a difference. Thank you so much for your support!

The Disability Employment Charter, help us make change!

Illustration of a woman holding up a sign. The sign has the Disability Employment Charter logo on it. The background is light blue with a blurry shadow of a plant across the image. The woman is wearing a Patchwork Hub multicoloured badge.

As the disability employment gap approaches 30% with no significant change in sight, The Disability Employment Charter calls for the government to act. The Charter proposes a set of measures that, if implemented, would dramatically shift the dial on disability employment.

Launched in October 2021, over 120 organisations have now signed up to The Charter to stand together to foster change and create a society that gives equal opportunity to disabled people seeking employment, and those in work already.?

As a signatory and an organisation whose social mission is to 'patch' the talent gap and promote decent work for all, The Charter embodies the change that we're determined to make. Therefore, we're asking you to help us help others. If you're an organisation wanting to make real change, sign up for The Charter today and show your support! ?

Resources to support Ukraine

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has caused devastation to so many lives. Figures from UNHCR suggest that there are currently over 7.8 million refugees from Ukraine across Europe. At the same time, many people are stuck in dangerous situations, unable to flee. As is so often the case, in times that are awful and difficult for everyone, disabled people can face particular challenges that rarely get the attention they should. There are over 2.7 million disabled people in Ukraine. And in the midst of the worst mass displacement of people in Europe since WWII it is important to remember those disabled people who can't flee as there is simply no way for them to do so. All of us at Patchwork Hub continue to stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. Slava Ukraini.

Ways you can help:

  1. Write to your MP (there are lots of templates online) to support Ukraine.
  2. Donate to support people with disabilities in Ukraine. Fight for Right is running a Go Fund Me and Inclusion Europe is specifically supporting people in Ukraine with intellectual disabilities.
  3. Donate to the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.

Thank you all for being with and supporting us this year, we look forward to connecting more with you next year.?

See you in 2023!
