Patch Tuesday is the synonym given to Microsoft’s monthly security update patch release for all operating systems. Generally this will fall on the second Tuesday of the month, hence the name “Patch Tuesday.” Microsoft releases these security updates to address vulnerabilities that have been discovered in its software products.
