Pat Davis, he's on the move!

In recognition of your contribution, we're here in celebration of your resignation

Pat Davis, Gemba's first triple threat, is leaving home.

 After nearly five and a half years, it’s with a mixture of sadness and happiness that we congratulate Pat on his exciting new opportunity at Carlton & United Breweries as Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships.

 Pat joined Gemba in July 2014 as an Insights Analyst, impressing all of us from day one.

 In November 2015 he was promoted to Strategy Analyst, then to Marketing Consultant in 2016 and finally to his current role in April 2017.

 Pat leaves us having made a significant contribution to client work, Gemba's internal agenda and our business culture

 Pat; we want to say a big ‘thank you’ for your unique contribution; your blood, sweat and tears over the journey…

 You cut the biggest sponsorship deals in the Australian sports landscape

You reviewed and revised our Sponsorship Planning intellectual capital

You bought new thinking and fresh ideas, alongside the courage and confidence to express and defend them

You identified the need to elevate community and cause sponsorships within our Insights Program and IC

You contemporised sponsorship planning and evaluation for a large telco

You delivered sports marketing campaigns that improved market share and helped launch new products

You developed a team. You set a brilliant example for Laura, so much so she is ready to move into your role now that you’re moving on. There is no better legacy than that so thank you.

You helped Toyota connect with communities and raise over $5m for grassroots footy and cricket in the process

You took your own professional development seriously. You read, shared and posted to improve yourself and those around you

You took feedback positively and always acted on it. You held yourself to the highest of expectations and always wanted to do it better next time

You geeked out with a love for spreadsheets and PowerPoint, to the point where your colleagues gave you a disco key board. We expect you to rock up on your first day at CUB with it.

You are a colleague we can count on, one we can trust to do what you say you will do. You always had Gemba's back

You hunted down new client opportunities, some of which we are still to announce. (We’ll toast those wins with one of your new brands, of course!)

You showed courage and resilience in both your professional and personal lives. You have our utmost respect and admiration

Mate, you will always be our Pat; The OG Triple Threat.

 While we will miss you at Gemba, we know that the next step in the future of you is the best next step to realise your long term career aspirations. Respect.
