THE PAST'S LEGACY

High School Students learn Science, Mathematics, Music, play Sports and exercise regularly, but only one question remains a mystery“ What about literature and is Technology taking over and depriving us of the right to grab a book to read and sail into the lands of strange and great eras?”
One day, my Mother told me my kinder garden principle used to say, “You should make your child sit for half an hour each day reading a book so that when they grow up, they can sit for 5-8 hours studying”. Come think of it this is true, now a days this method is no longer followed or applied, and we became fascinated by technology as it became within arm’s length and at our fingertip and caused us to neglect the actual book.
Nowadays, literature classes stopped being a mandatory class instead a perquisite, in which it lead us to loose imagination and creativity in real life and projects, and as the days go by we’re losing a precious legacy passed to us by great writers like Charles Dickens, Agatha Christie, Bronte Sisters and William Shakespeare and many more Worldwide, where they are becoming a haze/vivid memory in our minds, and if we go out into the street and ask people who are they, I bet 90% will not know the answer.?

Dear reader, as I am writing this I am not attacking our generation or the technology invented by a group of brilliant people as it is still be considered a great accomplishment yet a legacy, but my aim is to raise awareness that the e-book is harming you and depriving you of the most enjoyable part of reading which is holding an actual book and reconnecting with your senses. Moreover, you will appreciate the legacy left to us within the dark inked pages that will take you and make you wander within worlds of mystical realms and adventures that can only be found in books.
At the end, I am hoping to start this initiative to help our future generations hold onto a legacy passed to us in hopes to keep passing it on from one generation to the other and many more to come, as I would say??“Young Generations are our Legacy and Future’s Past”.
