Lightness was the prevailing mood in Paris for this season’s?couture , both in terms of silhouette (a loosely structured ‘20s line proved pivotal) and color, with delectable pastels and pale hues throughout.

Shades of mint, frosted lemon, bubblegum and sherbert were on full display at?Giorgio Armani ’s harlequin-themed show, which “opened with neat little jackets with the lozenge shapes in relief, and cycled through a variety of cocktail looks,” that included “glossy black pants, black knickers or long, narrow black skirts,” reported WWD’s Miles Socha.

Tiffany and?Nike ?are pulling the lid back further on their?hotly-rumored collaboration , which includes a sneaker, along with footwear-focused sterling silver accessories.

WWD can exclusively reveal that the Tiffany and?Nike ?sneaker — officially called the Nike x Tiffany & Co. Air Force 1 1837 — will be released on March 7. The low-top style, which was designed to celebrate the Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary, is priced at $400.

Saint Laurent ?has leased the building at 30 bis Rue Spontini in Paris that sheltered the legendary designer’s original haute couture house, sources told WWD.

Yves Saint Laurent ’s move into the Rue Spontini was front-page news in WWD on Nov. 22, 1961, the article recounting that the “house used to belong to the famous French caricaturist Jean-Louis Forain, who died in 1931.”
