After a busy month for our portfolio companies, we wanted to share a recap of all the exciting news coming from the Galvanize ecosystem. ?
The USDA announced its first 70 projects under the first Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities funding pool. Two of our portfolio companies, Arable and Regrow Ag , won awards through this initiative to expand markets for America’s climate-smart commodities. This exciting program provides support for technology development and market discovery that highlights the climate stewardship potential of agriculture.
?? Regrow Ag
Regrow is a partner in two projects – AGriCapture Climate-Friendly Rice and the Rice Stewardship Partnership. The first aims to benefit farmers in Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Louisiana, Texas, and California while expanding climate-smart rice markets and guaranteeing customers a supply of climate-smart rice. The Rice Stewardship Partnership will build climate-smart rice markets and work to reduce methane emissions in rice production.?

Arable and Galvanize are partners of the National Sorghum Producers Partnerships project, an initiative to implement climate-smart production practices across hundreds of thousands of acres of sorghum working lands. Through data collection and agronomic change, the program aims to reduce hundreds of millions of pounds of carbon emissions and develop markets for sorghum as a climate-smart commodity. Arable’s Mark sensor will provide critical datasets that support recommendations and substantiate environmental claims.
The Routing Company recently introduced its latest in-app innovation, Pingo Journey. With Pingo Journey, Pingo becomes the world's only app allowing riders to hail on-demand transit services and plan entire journeys to a final destination using existing transit modes in real-time.?
The Routing Company was also recently awarded the Innovation Solutions Award by METRO Magazine, and declared a winner of the Colorado Smart Cities Alliance Connected Colorado (“C2”) Challenge.?

Higg recently announced its new partnerships with ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme and bluesign technologies ag, two global leaders in sustainable chemical management.?
Through these new collaborations, Higg’s customers will be able to improve chemical management practices, reduce the risk of water toxicity, better understand the health impacts, and eliminate chemicals of concern from the upstream production process.
