The stage was set as HR practitioners from across the country gathered both physically and virtually for the much-awaited SHRMIndia Tech event. With hearts full of enthusiasm and minds ready for innovation, day one unfolded into a whirlwind of insights, inspiration, and foresight into the future of HR.
attendees were greeted with the soothing melodies - The Universal Key by Sunita Bhuyan, setting the perfect ambiance for a day filled with learning and collaboration.
Achal Khanna, CEO SHRM India , APAC & MENA took the stage to kickstart the 10th SHRM India Tech Conference.
Shiv Shivakumar, Conference Chair, Operating Partner Advent International Private Equity took the stage. His session, aptly titled "Past Forward," was not merely a reflection on history but a bold exploration of how the past can shape our future. "The past does not define the future, but it serves as an indicator of what lies ahead. He introduced the audience to the concept of the 4Ts: Technology, Temporary, Transactional, and Thrill.
The keynote session kicked off with Sharad Sharma, Co-founder of iSPIRT Foundation, leading the charge in exploring the DPI (Digital Public Infrastructure) Revolution. His insights paved the way for a day centered around leveraging technology to revolutionize HR practices.
Rohan Sylvester, Talent Strategy Advisor at Indeed India, took the stage next, weaving three captivating stories that underscored the transformative power of AI in simplifying hiring processes. From streamlining recruitment to predicting future talent needs, AI emerged as a cornerstone for building the workplace of tomorrow.
The discussion then shifted to the strategic importance of ROI-driven rewards and recognition programs, with the panel delving into the profound impact of thoughtful and personalized initiatives on organizational success.
A power-packed panel discussion titled "Future of Work: Crafting a Visionary EX for 2024 & Beyond" brought together industry leaders to explore the evolving landscape of employee experience. From emotional connections to personalized growth opportunities, the panel emphasized the role of technology in shaping a transformative employee experience.
The day continued with inspiring talks, including a TED Style Talk Series session where Babita Baruah and Poonam Kaul shared insights on navigating the digital world with resilience and trust.

The energies were indeed contagious as there are over a 100 stalls showcasing the solutions - that the best companies have been using The layout at the conference has been very refreshing.. Improving the audience experience..just a dozen roses away from the stage - very innovative..unlike a classroom like layout?? The icing on the cake was the networkknh opportunities!
