With expertise in engineering in geology and environmental engineering, Zinhle’s academic achievements, professional experience, and commitment to sustainable development bring valuable contributions to our mission of providing innovative engineering solutions.

A Journey of Passion and Expertise

Zinhle holds a BSc (Hons) in Engineering in Geology and brings a wealth of knowledge in soil profiling, geological investigations, groundwater protocols, and geological modeling. Her career includes roles as an engineer in geology and hydrogeologist, with notable experience in slope stability, foundation inspections, and groundwater assessments. She has also led community-centered projects as a project coordinator for Enactus UKZN.

What Draws Zinhle to Geotheta?

Zinhle was inspired to join Geotheta because of the company’s dedication to sustainable mine waste management and its collaborative approach. She is excited about leveraging her skills to contribute to the compliance and optimization of tailings facilities, all while promoting environmental stewardship and innovation.

Driving Impact Through Expertise

Zinhle’s technical proficiency includes tools such as ArcGIS and Slide for geological modeling, which she uses to manage and assess mine waste effectively. Her analytical thinking, fieldwork experience, and ability to collaborate with diverse teams position her as a key asset in delivering sustainable solutions.

When not working, Zinhle enjoys hiking, exploring nature, and playing sports like rugby and tennis. Her dedication to community development and continuous learning further reflect her commitment to making a positive impact both professionally and personally.
