Reet=> Why don’t you come home, on time…

Moni=> I can’t jeopardise my job you know!

Ody=> I’m tired and sleepy, filled with 10 cups of coffee in office

Reet=> Ah ok, what’s next

Ody=> Whole day within those 4 walls, it sucks!

Moni=> What else, eat, drink, go to bed, and…

Reet=> And what? Sounds interesting ??

Ody=> Umm… will see

Jun’2015

Moni=> It’s too much of the same thing, am getting bored…

Ody=> Don’t ask me, I have developed pain in my back

Reet=> Ody, are you tired and sleepy, filled with coffee

Ody=> Oh yeah… it’s the daily routine, you know!

Moni=> Tonight, no sleep, I’ve to compete and send contract doc.

Reet=> What’s your plan for this weekend…

Moni=> Oops! I’ve to prepare for a customer meeting on Monday

Ody=> I will be busy, as usual...

Moni=> Holy shit, if it continues this way, one day I’d burst

Ody=> I can’t help anymore, let’s call Reet

Reet=> I hear you… go on

Ody=> Hello, we’re in trouble… midlife crisis, it seems

Moni=> Reet, is this life all about? Huh...!

Reet=> Nope! Why do you say that

Moni=> I have tried many things, seems lost taste

Ody=> I don’t know… how to drag on till 60

Dec’2018

Moni=> I’m taking a long break from work

Reet=> Oh yes, it’s overdue; what’s the plan dear!

Ody=> I need rest and zest for life

Moni=> I’ll speak to you Reet… need your help to explore the future

Reet=> When is your last working day

Moni=> End of this month

Feb’2019

Moni=> After quitting job, I've a mixed feeling now, is it ok?

Reet=> What’s the worry, that you may not get another job?

Moni=> Yes, and I must pay instalments, take care of children

Ody=> My muscles are getting tensed listening to this conversation

Moni=> I’m trying for jobs after 2 months, it’s hard to sit idle

Ody=> Same here, am again getting filled with coffee, bored with boyfriends ??

Reet=> Why, you can do your hobby stuff, have fun, meditate etc.

Moni=> I do… it lasts for some time and am back to worries

Reet=> What’s happening these days?

Moni=> I am trying to get busy until I land on a job

Ody=> I see no improvement in my health and fitness, I am trying

Moni=> It’s getting complicated as days pass on

Apr’2020

Moni=> I’m not happy, I regret the decision to quit the job for a long break

Reet=> Why don’t you do what you are passionate about

Moni=> I do, last 6 months, enjoying when in it, and back to square one

Reet=> So, the worries not leaving you… they accompany wherever you go!

Moni=> Seems so… but if I had money, I won’t have worries

Reet=> Are you sure? Give me one example of a rich man with no worries

Moni=> You were right, I didn’t find a wealthy guy with no worries or illness

Reet=> You're welcome, darling! ??

Moni=> I get it, I have to accept that life will have worries, one can’t be free!

Reet=> I didn’t say that

Moni=> Then what is it!!!

Reet=> Let’s find out

May’2021

Moni=> I got a new job offer, I am joining in 2 weeks

Ody=> I too. Though I couldn’t fully recover, but I will be joining office

Reet=> Good luck! How its different from earlier job?

Moni=> hereafter, I plan to have fun in whatever I do

Reet=> Is that all and foolproof?

Moni=> I will be passionate about everything, including meeting you again ??

Reet=> Happy for you; It’s your story and mine too! Cheers!

Moni=> I now think, there is more to life then that meets the eye!

Reet=> Yeah… let’s make it worthwhile living here every day

Ody=> Sounds great, hurray!

Moni=> I’ll do something to lighten up when it's heavy, and of course we will be in touch!

Ody=> Thank you so much, Reet!

Would you be surprised, if Reet, Moni and Ody are not individuals but just voices in your head! I’ve witnessed many voices raising their pitch, when I am at crossroads. What about you, my friend! Ultimately, we settle down in our own minds, after travelling the entire world! It is more about 'how' than what we do!!!
