Passion is the Key! ?
It’s been over a month since Collision 2024 in Toronto ????, and I didn’t feel inspired to write about my experience until this weekend, when an interaction with my daughter reminded me of the value of attending such a fantastic event.
I had the unique opportunity to be the most significant guest at a toy party in my daughter’s room. I wore a dress, makeup (yes, full princess makeup ??), and, of course, pink nails. As she carefully painted my face and hands, I couldn’t help but notice the sparkle in her eyes. She was completely focused and poured her love into every brushstroke. The passion she had for what she was doing was palpable, and it struck me: “That’s the kind of passion I want to have in everything I do.” The result? Painted nails and fingers! ??
"That's the passion I want to have in everything I do."
Reflecting on this moment, I realized that, much like at my daughter’s toy party, the real magic comes from the passion we invest in our endeavors. It’s not about striving for perfection or expecting instant results, but about finding joy in the process and dedicating ourselves to it. ??

The connections we made at Collision Toronto were with people and companies who share this same passion for what they do, plan to do, or are already doing. Ultimately, it’s that passion that drives us forward and opens up new opportunities. ??
I had the pleasure of meeting some truly inspiring individuals at the event ??:
Reflecting on our experience at Collision, the feeling I want to share is this: passion in the process is the key. ??

7 个月Thanks for the shout out, Yulian. I’m humbled that my passion for the work we’re doing at Emergency Management Logistics Canada came through in our conversation. Sometimes the best opportunities are right in front of us and we can make a big difference if we simply take the time to pay attention - like being the guest of honor for your daughter. I love your story. Having a daughter and two grand daughters, I know the power that connection and focused attention can make. Conference organizers highly recommended saying hi to everyone you meet. Glad we had a chance to connect and super-stoked that our brief conversation stood out for you.
