Awe and Wonder

I am always delighted when someone I interview is just as amazed by her colleagues' and friends' work as she is with the work she creates. AI capabilities and tools change so fast, there are always new things to learn and positive surprises as she creates. When I asked Erin about how she wants her clients to feel, again she exemplified emotional intelligence at the highest level:

"I want clients to feel that I listen and give them everything they want. I really care that people are happy with the end result.

Playing Favorites

With every innovator I feature, I inquire about their favorite AI tools. This question is getting more difficult to answer as new AI tools, resources and upgrades make the news daily. It truly is getting difficult to keep up with the advancement of the technology. And again, 'awe and wonder' comes into play. Erin has several 'go-to' tools she enjoys utilizing. Thanks to her MIT certification, and a strong AI network, she knows where to focus.

Like so many who dive deep, Erin does have one tool she favors over the others. "I like and use Midjourney. I feel like it gives me the best results. To be honest I haven't gone back to Leonardo, Firefly or Dall-E, in a while." Erin also really enjoys strategically utilizing ChatGPT and Gemini, with her latest fascination being exploring Runway.

About Face

The subtitle of this portion is not literal, it's figurative. Erin is creatively executing an 'about face' switch in her career, making the change over from traditional graphic designer to Gen AI and utilizing it in graphic design and retouching.

"I think my dream work life would be to be a Gen AI creative and work on a tropical beach somewhere. AI has helped me create limitless design. Before, what would have taken me hours to retouch and design, takes me minutes. AI has truly helped my workflow, my output, my iterations, and stretched my creative and strategic thought process."

Since her MIT certification completion, Erin continues to grow her skillset in AI, as well as build AI community, as so many of us on this journey do. We learn from each other as we grow, as the technology grows, and as more and more clients realize that gifted designers like Erin can make a difference in their product marketing and development.
