Passing on Learning at IMEX Frankfurt

The Scottish Event Campus will be in Frankfurt next week to attend IMEX one of the key trade shows for those in the meeting, conference and events industry.

Like every other industry, one of the key topics of conversation in the exhibition aisles this year will be sustainability and, following our hosting of COP26 last year, we have more to say than most. That’s why our own Dawn Lauder is running a couple of sessions at the event, looking at the legacies of COP26 and creating our own. ?

This is more than a look at the public facing side of the conference, but a chance for our business to share what others in the world of events can learn from hosting an event of this magnitude and complexity. ?

Therefore at 11.30am local time Dawn will be hosting a session on ‘The Learnings from COP26’ in the show’s Inspiration Hub, for any event planner looking to get under the skin of this event and understand how they can take ideas and inspiration into their own, regardless of the scale. ?

However, it’s not just event professionals in action today that are important, hosting COP26 was the opportunity of a lifetime for many involved and will not come around again. That’s why it’s as equally important for the SEC to share learning with those of our next generation of organisers. And that’s why Dawn will be hosting a second session at 3.15pm local time in the Future Leaders theatre. ?
