Bogi Bogason tells Graham Newton that the revamped carrier is optimistic about achieving its sustainability goals.
The Icelandair CEO believes it is a realistic target to be carbon-neutral in domestic air travel by the end of the decade: "With its short distances and ample access to green energy, Iceland is the perfect location for carbon-free aviation and I’m sure we will be among the leaders in this field."
On the 2050 net zero carbon emissions target, Bogason says that it will "take government support but if we get the right policies in place we can achieve our goal.
