The LeadHERship panel at the eXp Shareholder Summit ROCKED! We came together in the spirit of community, empowerment, support, and connection. Women supporting women.

This powerful choir set the stage by singing with so much passion the room was moved to tears. "The Girls Choir of Theatre South Playhouse is based in a philosophy that when students are inspired by working with diverse professional artists, anything is possible". Thank you Jenn Van Burkleo for inviting them.

Cecilia Meis, the new Editor-In-Chief for SUCCESS Magazine, guided the conversation by asking thought-provoking questions of 5 kick-off panelists.

Jenn Van Burkleo, Sr. Director, Events and Social at eXp Realty, and her team planned and executed the eXp Shareholder Summit which was full of incredible speakers, interactive attractions, and fun for 4000 people - that is a lot of work and she hit a home run! She attributed her success in this event to her boss, Courtney Chakarun, CMO eXp World Holdings, who gave her the freedom, trusted her judgement, and supported her ideas - really taking the concept of EMPOWERMENT and putting into ACTION by believing in her.

Courtney Chakarun talked about how important mentorship is and how inspired she has been by entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Magdalena Yesil. There's an excellent interview with Courtney and Magdalena in the current issue of SUCCESS magazine. This issue is extra special because it was created exclusively by women, for women.

Elizabeth Riley, ICON agent and Founder of Luxe Property Group, leads with heart! She is one of the original agents in eXp and has participated in the growth of the company from the minute she joined. She gives to the company and her community is so many ways, truly inspiring everyone who meets her. Her beautiful daughters participated in the event and they were able to see how her mom leads by example. A very special moment.

Veronica Figueroa, Chief Visionary Officer at The Figueroa Team - Orlando, is a force of greatness and professionalism. Her team has collected lots of awards and accolades and recently was awarded #1 Team in Orlando operating as a true team non brokerage by Real Trends. Her story is incredible and she truly cares about her team, her family, her community. She said, "We are successful because we LINKED HEARTS" - Powerful!

One of the coolest parts of this session was when the kick-off panelists got up and passed their microphones to women in the audience who then went onstage to answer a question.

I handed my microphone to Mindy Price, Founder of The Mindy Price Group, because she is a dear friend, a fabulous colleague, and an inspiring leader who cares so much about people and their success. "If you worry about being perfect all the time, you are going to miss out on opportunities".

After the session people were commenting on how refreshing it was to be included in that way, how exciting to be part of a company who cares about empowering women to lead, and how good it feels to be part of a community of women supporting women. Now that is success!
