Party Report: Madewell x Parachute

Madewell is famous for their effortlessly cool wardrobe staples, which is why we partnered with them on a limited edition Travel Kit: to bring ease and comfort wherever you go! In the spirit of hitting the road in style, we traveled together to Scribner’s Catskill Lodge in upstate New York and hosted The Coziest Weekend Ever.

Twenty-five women across different backgrounds and industries were invited to relax, unwind and get crafty – sort of like summer camp…but in the snow. There were workshops by day (weaving, cake styling, yoga, meditation), followed by evening gatherings of wine tasting, live music (thank you Eleanor Friedberger!) and movies (Nancy Myers, obvs). All rooms were outfitted with Parachute Bedding and Throws, so guests could end their busy days in ultimate comfort. 

All of the weekend’s activities were centered around building community among women. From our hosts and cooks to the wine we served, The Coziest Weekend Ever celebrated women’s work and creativity (and s’mores making skills).

“The ladies of Parachute have always been big fans of Madewell, so I’m thrilled we had the opportunity to design a product that unites the two brands so naturally,” said Ariel Kaye, our Founder and CEO. “To then celebrate the launch in such a magical way was the icing on the cake,” added Trelawny Davis, Brand Marketing Manager, who lead the collaboration. “Did I mention there was a cake styling workshop?”
