Partnerships, podcasts and subscriber engagement: An engaged user is a happy customer
A note from our Deputy Managing Director
Welcome to this month's edition of our newsletter, and to the final quarter of a very busy year. We’ve been looking back on the fantastic connections the FT Strategies team has made so far in 2022, a personal favourite of mine being with the National Theatre here in London.?
Supporting the growth of their streaming product,?National Theatre at Home,?it’s been as rewarding for us as it has been for them. In the words of Emma Keith, Director of Digital Media:
“This has been the most valuable consultancy project. The in-depth market knowledge the team provided has increased our confidence in investing in the business and growing for the future. The knowledge of subscription businesses is unparalleled and backed up with real-world experience. FT Strategies challenged us to think outside our comfort zone in a supported yet rigorous way to establish opportunities for digital transformation within the organisation. We have come away from the project with a 12-month operational plan to shore up our business and ensure it is set for scalable success.”
I look forward to sharing more on this project in the next newsletter so watch this space… and in the meantime check out our other?case studies?for a flavour of our work.?
On the theme of partnerships, I am delighted that FT Strategies has been recognised by the?PPA Awards. At the last event, we presented the award for innovation and this time we are on the shortlist for Industry Partner of the Year, for our work supporting news and specialist publishers on their digital transformation and growth strategies. That work wouldn’t be possible without our essential partnership with the Google News Initiative -?see more here?on our commitment to scale up this work globally.
If you too would like to work with us, we’d love to hear from you. We’re in the final stages of booking projects for 2023 so please do?get in touch?to?discuss your needs.?
Below you’ll find a selection of some of our latest essential insights, including why your?organisation needs to?focus on lifetime value,?subscriber engagement being paramount?and the opportunity for?digital revenue from podcasts in a post-pandemic world.?
?See you next month.
