Partnering for the Future of the Great Park
What do the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum, Orange County Music & Dance, and Pretend City Children's Museum all have in common?
They have all secured their future home in the Great Park's Cultural Terrace, which will be one of Southern California’s most dynamic cultural, historical, and educational centers, honoring Irvine’s rich diversity, military heritage, and promising future.
Together, with some of the world’s greatest architects and land developers, these partners will help bring the vision for the Great Park Framework Plan to life. The carefully curated partners who are part of this remarkable journey include:
They joined the City for an Open House May 7 to introduce community members and residents to the future of the Great Park. Attendees viewed the Great Park Framework Plan and talked to partners about coming food and beverage, retail, gardens, and cultural, historical, and arts amenities.
The Cultural Terrace — the future home of the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum, Orange County Music & Dance, Pretend City Children's Museum, and the Asian American History Museum — is located on 45 acres adjacent to Great Park’s world-class Sports Complex. Once completed, it will include 200,000 square feet of cutting-edge museum, educational, and performing arts facilities.??
Cultural Terrace Partners will begin welcoming visitors to the Great Park in the summer of 2026.
