This month's newsletter highlights several new integrations with Ongoing WMS, including SSI Sch?fer LOGIMAT by Lager och Industrisystemer, ChannelEngine by Prime Penguin, T5 by Barkfors. and VCE Solutions. Also, Woodland Mills Europe AB, a customer of the 3PL Storex, demonstrates how integrating Ongoing WMS with Gung and Fortnox has optimized their logistics, and Blue Water Shipping shares their global growth success using Ongoing WMS. And lastly – recent API and webhook updates offer enhanced flexibility and control in warehouse management.

New Integration: SSI Sch?fer LOGIMAT vertical storage lift?

The Norwegian company Lager of Industrisystemer has built this integration. The SSI Sch?fer LOGIMAT vertical storage lift - which allows for efficient automated small parts storage and retrieval - is controlled by the software SharkWMS. For this integration, SharkWMS is integrated with Ongoing WMS and controls the workflow between Ongoing WMS and LOGIMAT, managing tasks such as deliveries, transfers, and refills. New Integration: ChannelEngine by Prime Penguin

ChannelEngine connects brands and retailers to over 1000 marketplaces and online sales channels worldwide, enabling businesses to expand their reach. The integration with Ongoing WMS, developed and maintained by Prime Penguin , allows seamless connection to these marketplaces and enhances online sales opportunities. New Integration: T5 transport management system by Barkfors

The integration between Ongoing WMS and T5, developed by Barkfors , streamlines logistics and warehouse management. T5 handles transport operations from order creation to delivery, while Ongoing WMS adds features like scanning and warehouse maps for better inventory control. Orders in T5 automatically transfer to Ongoing WMS as customer orders, where a purchase order is created for each order line. When those items are marked as recieved in Ongoing WMS, a webhook is triggered to send information back to T5. Read more about the integration in our?Documentation Center.

New Integration: VCE Solutions

The integration between Ongoing WMS and VCE Solutions, a German-based digital logistics platform, automates shipping processes and provides full control over warehouses and shipping operations. With access to over 180 carriers, the integration allows users to generate shipments directly from Ongoing WMS, compare options, track shipments in real-time, and automate status updates among other features. Woodland Mills Logistical Success with Gung and Ongoing WMS

Woodland Mills Europe AB, a leader in forestry equipment, sought to streamline its distribution and sales processes in Europe. To achieve this, they outsourced logistics to the 3PL provider Storex using Ongoing WMS, and integrated the Gung business platform for sales and Fortnox AB for accounting. These systems work seamlessly together, allowing efficient logistics management, real-time order tracking, and automated data exchanges, significantly reducing administrative work. This integration has improved customer satisfaction and enhanced sales processes. Woodland Mills is now well-equipped to meet growing market demands and strengthen its industry position.

Goods Owner SOAP API

• Free Date 1 Field for Return Orders: A new "Free Date 1" field has been added, which now can be sent and returned when creating or fetching return orders. This can be used to improve tracking and handling of return orders.
• Free Date 1 in Articles: In ProcessArticle, users can now specify "Free Date 1," providing more flexibility in managing article-specific details.
• Controllable Field Updates via API: A new setting allows users to control which fields can be updated via the API. For instance, users can enable updates to the FreeText1 field during order creation but prevent changes during order updates, increasing control over data consistency.

Goods Owner REST API

• Free Date 1 Field for Return Orders: A new "Free Date 1" field has been added, which now can be sent and returned when creating or fetching return orders. This can be used to improve tracking and handling of return orders.
• Production Orders Endpoint: A new endpoint has been added to create and fetch production orders.
• Order Line Enhancements: When fetching an order, each order line now includes information about the pick order and the "second number of items" on each picked article.
• Controllable Field Updates via API: A new setting allows users to control which fields can be updated via the API. For instance, users can enable updates to the FreeText1 field during order creation but prevent changes during order updates, increasing control over data consistency.
• Free Text Fields for Orders: New PATCH methods have been added to update FreeText1, FreeText2, and FreeText3, providing more flexibility in making post-order updates.
• Free Date 1 for Articles: When creating or updating articles, users can now specify "Free Date 1," adding flexibility to the management of article details.
• Article Item Locking: A new PATCH endpoint allows users to toggle the "is locked" flag on article items, improving inventory control by enabling selective locking of items.

Blue Water Shipping: The Globally Expanding 3PL

Blue Water Shipping (BWS) is a global 3PL provider with over 80 offices and 2,500 employees worldwide. They initially chose Ongoing WMS to replace their previous system due to its flexibility and ability to handle the complexity of their operations. After successful testing and implementation in Denmark and Australia, Ongoing WMS has been rolled out to over 20 locations globally. The system has improved BWS's warehouse efficiency, allowing for better inventory management, space optimization, and adaptability to various types of cargo. BWS value the ready-made integrations, well-documented APIs, and strong support from Ongoing, enabling them to process 10 times more orders since 2020.
