Founded in 2017 by Veronica Fly and her husband, Dirt Road Rustics emerged from the ashes of a personal tragedy—a house fire that left their family seeking new beginnings. With a determination to create a beautiful home, Veronica quickly realized that the local market lacked the distinctive rustic pieces she craved. After countless weekend trips out of town to find the perfect furniture and décor, she pondered how many others in their growing community faced the same challenge. This realization sparked the creation of Dirt Road Rustics.

Over the past seven years, the business has flourished, moving into a second location twice the size of the original. Known for its curated collection of rustic yet refined home furnishings, Dirt Road Rustics has become a staple in the Brazos community, offering a blend of rustic style and modern comfort.

Today, the business is run by Veronica and her daughter Cheyenne, handpicking every item that’s displayed in their store and helping customers imbue the same rustic charm in their own homes. On this showroom bed, the Dirt Road Rustics team layered our Verona Matelasse with our bestselling Stonewashed Cotton Gauze Quilt. Simple, bright, and airy, this combination of pieces creating an inviting bed that evokes the same elegant charm of a well-made hotel room bed and the casual coziness of a seaside retreat. Both bedding pieces are made of 100% high-quality cotton, providing both warmth and breathability that’s perfect for year-round use.
