Marketing applied to the construction sector is changing progressively, as new tools are emerging to reach the right audience and optimize management time. Today I want to share with you some aspects or particularities that I have noticed, working the last years in the organization of internationally outstanding projects:
? The delivery time varies in each project, as there is a long and complex purchasing process. The client can take months to acquire a product or service.
? It is becoming more and more common to use online tools such as SEO optimization of a website, social media branding, email marketing campaigns, remarketing, and voice-to-voice strategies.
? Nowadays, there are new technologies to realize excellent marketing strategies for Construction, with the orientation directed towards Inbound marketing and Outbound marketing.?
? In the construction industry, marketing should be focused on selling to other companies, rather than to individual consumers.
? Usually before undertaking a major engineering and construction project, clients do not take this decision lightly, so they keep themselves well informed about the service.?
? There are new methods of paid advertising that need to be implemented within the sales strategy, both traditional and commercial.?
? Managers, executives and owners in the construction industry apply large sums of money to sales force and commercial activities.
? Generally, marketing campaigns must be well segmented, as large and expensive mass campaigns do not work for the construction sector, it is more efficient to reach the right people.
