Particle4X Wins KidneyX Sustainability Prize

We are thrilled to announce that our SMART-PD team, led by Particle4X, has been selected as one of the seven winners of the US Department of Health and Human Services’ KidneyX Sustainability Prize! This prestigious award is designed to incentivize the development of innovative solutions to reduce water and power usage during dialysis care.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the US Department of Health and Human Services and the KidneyX organizers and reviewers for their recognition and support, which will enable us to advance our research toward a sustainable home dialysis revolution.

SMART-PD is our proposed advanced home dialysis system, designed to:

• Produce sterile PD fluid from tap water.
• Reclaim effluent to minimize waste.
• Utilize AI-powered monitoring to enhance sustainability and patient safety.

With the support of the KidneyX prize, we are committed to turning this vision into reality!
