I introduce myself to you as a formulator and manager of projects focused on the artistic cultural development of Pastusa citizens. The Pastuso or Pastusa demonym is for all those born in the city of Pasto, capital of the department of Nari?o in the south-west of Colombia, Pasto is an intermediate city of approximately one million inhabitants. and its importance lies in the fact that it is recognized as a creative city for its cultural value since some of our traditions have been declared as intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO, among which the Black and White Carnival stands out; the crafts, the colonial and republican architecture, as well as its folklore and gastronomy. On this occasion I have been entrusted with a very special task, that of transforming the center of the city of Pasto into a cultural and creative district through the design of a project that contemplates, in turn, the reconstruction of the architectural heritage through the rehabilitation of the space. public at the service of local and international communities. Likewise, as the intellectual author of the project, I have proposed extending the invitation to the global network of cultural districts based in London and New York, since it is of great benefit and prestige for us to have their collaboration in alliance as public-private agencies. and in the search for international cooperation; co-financing of resources through foreign direct investment funds; and the promotion of the district internationally as a key factor in the development and promotion of our economy and our region as a tourist destination of great cultural value.

The project has been presented to the administration of the municipal mayor of the city of Pasto and has its approval, likewise the local administration would have budgeted a monetary contribution as a counterpart corresponding to 20% of the total project. It also contemplates the possibility of contributing as a resource in kind the properties determined and arranged for the execution of the construction stage of all the planned and designed infrastructure. Likewise, this project is aligned and articulated with public policies focused on the commercial, tourist and productive development of the nation.

For this great reason I allow myself to extend the invitation to be participants in the elaboration and formulation of this project, and to take actions as a fundamental part in the execution of its different stages of development (Planning and design; Construction and lifting; Execution and organization) which have been determined and identified in the formulation of the project itself.
