Part IV: Creating a future where all Americans benefit from the digital economy
Helping young people visualize their future
It took many years for Elerie Archer, nurse and manager of Clinical Programs for Lutheran Medical Center, to earn multiple degrees, a path she understands isn’t always visible or available to everyone. In her current role at Lutheran Medical Center, she helps young people in the community identify their passions and the training required for their chosen career.
Elerie believes people, young and old alike, must be shown the possibilities and given an opportunity to cross-train for those desired positions that do not require a four-year college degree. “Every person needs mentorship, guidance and a vision for what’s possible.”
