Be a part of history (encyclopedia) in the making
With the ubiquity of Wikipedia, an encyclopedia is truly a rarity. Some may even say that encyclopedia is a dying breed. Yet here we are, in the summer of 2021, the online edition of the Encyclopedia of Computer Graphics and Games published by Springer Nature has garnered more than 58,000 downloads.
Unlike Wikipedia, the Encyclopedia is a unique reference resource tailored to meet the needs of research and applications for industry professionals and academic communities worldwide.
Moreover, the Hardcover Volume of the Encyclopedia will soon be available in major university and public libraries worldwide. But something is missing: You!
Whether or not you are a Wikipedian, if you have taught or written about computer science subjects, you need to be a part of history in the making by adding your name to the Encyclopedia of Computer Graphics and Games. How? It's easy: Submit an article about the history, education, technologies, and trends of computer graphics or computer games.
We accept small articles (650 to 1,000 words), medium articles (1,000 to 3,000 words), and large articles (3,000 to 5,000 words). Pick one or more of the following topics, come up with the title(s) of your article(s), and send me a LinkedIn message.

3 年Newton Lee with the passage of time Wikipedia is subduing encyclopaedia. It’s all about marketing and user needs. On google more than 88% people are using Wikipedia in comparison to encyclopaedia. Lesson We should run fast because it’s not first mover time but fast mover time. Encyclopaedia come first but Wikipedia was fast mover so that’s why it beat encyclopaedia.
