They are under constant threat from fire. They have developed local contingency plans and can help each other during fire emergencies. This is what is needed. Know your neighbors and support each other . Get prepared! They have simple walkie-talkies and such to communicate and they are ready to help each other. They also prepare by cutting back fire material from the houses and outbuildings way in advance of fire months.
