Part 2 - Are we really ready to address all of our concerns?

So, the question still remains unanswered - What are the ways to either control or handle this situation of our ever growing population and how to reduce stress on all depleting resources on Earth?
For the time being, until this gets answered, let's consider about those living beings who are not from Earth. Their existence itself is one of the trickiest question and has kept everyone puzzling since a long time now. The answer to this question possibly comes in 3 ways though -
- Yes, they exist, but they are novice as compared to our existence and our caliber. Maybe that is why we haven't received any respective confirming signals from the Interstellar space till date. For instance, now that our satellites have nearly confirmed the existence of liquid bodies, livable conditions at various places within our solar system itself, we can keep some confidence in the probability that life might exist there as of now, but maybe it's not so mature as we are and hence we haven't ever listened back from them.
- Yes, they exist, and they are pretty well advanced than we are as of now. This might be a reason why we haven't heard from them yet. It might be the case that they are so advanced that they travel at the speed of light, and they are already being multi-planetary and that they assume us as novice. There is also a possibility that their medium of communication with us is on a very different level than what we are expecting from them at our level.
- No, there is isn't anybody out there and we are all alone in this entire Interstellar.
For the sake of discussion, let's consider the second point as a matter of truth. Then the possible reasons for them to go/become multi-planetary are:
- Less space for accommodation for all of them on their planet
- The thought or curiosity of being voyagers exploring what's out there and how they could use it
- The urge to gain pride by acquiring more land space than all of the other beings (Just like what most of our historic kingdoms used to do)
- To address the possibility of dying from the unavoidable futuristic catastrophes which might come and vanish their existence
Considering all of the above reasons for them to do so, and considering our past here on our planet, we can surely say that our species has been very lucky enough to stand tall after addressing all our previous pandemics like The Black death, Cholera pandemics, Flu pandemic, etc. If it was not for addressing these, then our existence as of today would also stay as a question.
If dinosaurs were as intelligent as we are now and if they could've somehow known beforehand that they were going to be wiped out by an incoming asteroid, then they would've done something and existed somehow till date. Of course, then our existence would be a question in front of them and our past would be very different.
And yes, it all still boils down to our existence only on this planetary body and the possibility that something might come up in our near future and wipe out our existence completely.
If this is to be addressed, then our inter-planetary expeditions need to be more frequent than ever and our technical expertise needs to be more mature than it is now.
We will surely survive this Corona pandemic, but if we are to survive any of similar or more dangerous pandemics in the near future, then now is the time to address them by altering our current lifestyles, reducing the amount of pressure we put on all of our earthly resources, adapting more renewable energies, heading our technologies more towards these innovations instead of self-satisfactory innovations and of course, exploring the possibilities of new places besides Earth to rely on for our future accommodations.
This is exactly why we need advanced technologies, smart human resources and Eco-friendly population now more than ever to address the most demanding, but neglected problem - our ever increasing population
