As you all know , whenever you will be applying for a new job there would be a primary requirement of basically two things i.e. platform where to apply for a job of your domain and for applying to those jobs you will need a RESUME. So , In this post our focus will lie around this only .

Let’s first discuss about the?Platforms:

• Instahyre(https://www.instahyre.com/) - I will highly recommend this because most of the interview calls I got were from here only and it has a vast listing of IT jobs of very reputed product based companies.
• LinkedIn Jobs?- One of the options available is?Easy Apply?where you can apply for a job application in a few seconds. Another thing which is super beneficial is to have a certain job alert on linkedIn for eg. “IOS Developer” job alert which will automatically show all the new jobs and accordingly you can apply easily.
• Company’s career page?- This is a lengthy and time taking process but sometimes helpful . Approach here would be to check the jobs on linkedIn of a certain company which is in your bucket list and you can apply on respective company career page.
• Tophire(https://tophire.co/) And?AngelList(https://angel.co/) - you might receive early stage companies call
• Referrals?: Any day they are super helpful.
• Others?: Like naukri , hirist , hirect , cutshort and many more I am not sure about these so won’t comment .

Resume?: I would not tell you how to create a resume because on youtube and web already a lot of content is available and you can refer to it . But the key thing about a resume is whether it is written in consideration of the respective Job profile or not. For instance , if you are making a resume for iOS Development job then your resume must contain keywords like :?Swift , objective c , xcode , ios sdk , ios development , Cocoa Touch , UIKit , Autolayout , size classes , storyboards , xibs , push notifications , memory management?,?Core Data , Core Animation , Architecture like MVC , MVVM , VIPER and many more.

Above keywords you can put either in skills or in experience description. With the presence of appropriate keywords in the resume it might be helpful to filter out the resume through parsers.

Secondly , whatever content you write in the job experience section should show the technicality of your work(by adding above mentioned keywords in between the sentences). If you are getting issues in writing those then you can get help from the job description itself.

For ex. for a iOS Developer job you can add below content in job description :

• Experience with Swift, Xcode , iOS versions, debugging tools, memory management, multi- threading techniques, UI design.
• Extensive hands-on experience creating custom UI controls, consuming RESTful APIs, designing protocols, implementing delegate interfaces, animations, and performance optimisation .
• Understanding of the iOS Provisioning Portal processes (provisioning profiles, App IDs, device provisioning).
• Design and develop using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability.
• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, design patterns , trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• proficiency with RESTful API's to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• experience with storage, threading, and performance tuning
• good knowledge in pixel-perfect implementation of designs.
• Proficiency in Unit Testing and Test Driven Development
