Parliamentary elections in Moldova - Poll for your future!

Parliamentary elections in Moldova - Poll for your future!

Finally, for the first time in a long time, there is an opportunity to make important history in Moldova. I am now the third time one of the international election observers and would like to help modestly to fair elections. Fairness was often undermined in the past elections here in Moldova. However, I would like to mention that the many involved election workers with their different motivations are doing an important job in Moldova to regain the trust of the voters after politically motivated attacks against election fairness. However, there are some things that need to be improved in order to achieve more fairness.

As president of the mit-center, it is essential to me that the voters focus on improving opportunities for the youth and future generations.?And that the future parliament will spend a lot of resources to invest in education.

Without this, the talented and financially independent young people will increasingly take the offer abroad, what this means can already be seen today.

So stop with the voluntary deportation of the best young talents.

Go Vote and give your vote for the Future of Moldova!

Excellent message Guido. And thank you for serving as an International Election Monitor. It sounds like election integrity is steadily improving in Moldova!

short first feedback from my election day. of course, as always, there were some incidents, even on our tour. Some still believe few politically motivated participants, when they argue loudly in a polling station, to be important and better perceived. The majority took this in our observation, however, only as embarrassing. Important in the cases we have heard of these incidents, e.g. the photography of voting cards, there the election management very professionally intervened.? What is also noticeable not good, but better than in the last previous election was there are often issues with the Covid rules than for other points ;)!? So there I personally see the attendance of international and national observers as very positive, and one of the reasons why it is now more fair.?Many Moldovans travel from Chisinau to the country to vote. So we saw a lot of manually registrations, people with no registrations of there living place. A young woman I asked how far she had traveled told me that she had traveled 50 km. This desire to vote was already unbelievable for me. But the explanation it was so important for her and her argument the diaspora travels much more to vote, inspired me.
