IT Park Uzbekistan Delegation's Visit to Armenia
A delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan conducted a visit to Armenia with the aim of enhancing cooperation in the IT and outsourcing sectors. The visit included a series of significant meetings with representatives from leading Armenian companies.
One notable meeting was held with representatives of Miro, one of the world’s largest collaboration platforms, utilized by over 35 million users globally. The delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan explored opportunities for integrating Miro’s solutions into Uzbekistan’s IT sector and discussed potential avenues for collaborative project development. The meeting also focused on fostering bilateral relations between the IT sectors of Uzbekistan and Armenia, as well as the prospect of Miro establishing a presence in Uzbekistan. Miro’s representatives expressed keen interest in future cooperation and are currently assessing entry opportunities into the Uzbek market.
Additionally, the delegation met with Vahan Vardanyan, founder of KerPak, to discuss prospects for venture capital funding, startup support, and IT initiative development. KerPak specializes in the development of advanced technologies and innovative products. Discussions centered on establishing stronger connections between the IT sectors of both countries, with particular emphasis on the potential for KerPak to open a branch in Uzbekistan, taking advantage of the incentives and privileges offered to IT Park Uzbekistan members.

The delegation also engaged in discussions with prominent investor Karen Gyulbudaghyan. Key topics included the development of the IT sector, support for business initiatives, and the investment climate in Armenia, as well as potential avenues for expanding bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Armenia. Uzbekistan’s growing role as an IT outsourcing hub, coupled with the benefits offered to IT Park members, garnered significant interest from investors.
In addition, a meeting was held with Narek Aslikyan , Director of Armenian Code Academy , which specializes in training and upskilling professionals in programming and other technical disciplines. The academy offers programs that could bolster export capabilities in the development of IT talent.
As a result of these discussions, several companies expressed strong interest in establishing long-term partnerships with IT Park Uzbekistan and are considering opening branches in the country. Discussions also addressed the potential for developing business ties, opening new offices, and leveraging the advantages available to IT Park members, positioning Uzbekistan as a highly attractive destination for business expansion.
