According to the company, the raised proceeds will be utilised for capital expenditure to be incurred by its subsidiary, OCT for the expansion of the capacity of its cell manufacturing plant from 5GWh to 6.4 GWh, classified as phase 2 under the expansion plan(the "Project"). Also, the raised money will be used to pare off debt incurred by its other subsidiary, OET.
Adani Wilmar Q1 Results: Profit at Rs 313.20 crore against loss during Q1FY24, revenue up 9.6% YoY
FMCG major Adani Wilmar on Monday reported its fiscal first quarter earnings with profit at Rs 313.20 crore. This is in comparison to a loss of Rs 78.92 crore recorded during the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal year. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 14,168.58 crore, up 9.6 per cent as against Rs 12,928.08 crore during the same period last year. The company posted its highest-ever EBITDA of Rs 619 crore, up 375 per cent YoY, in Q1FY25 on the back of stability in edible oil prices.

The new Pamban Bridge is now almost complete with the recent milestone that it achieved involving the perfect placement of the lift span girder in its rightful position. The process took weeks as it is crucial for the lift span to be placed accurately to allow the ships to pass underneath. The 72.5-meter-long lift span was put together on the Rameswaram side of the bridge, after which it slowly travelled the distance of 450 meters to be placed into position over the navigational channel.
